graphs befuddle me! (no idea what that word means, but now seems like an appropriate time to use it)
late night studying once again. taking a break after a panic attack.

i am very amused (and slightly miffed) at the controversy the drama competition is conjuring. ok no. its not the competition. its the people.
here i am, an innocent bystander, watching three classes pit against each other in the most spiteful array of insults, threats and vulgarities i have ever seen being slapped on each others' tagboards.
hohoho. and why am i amused, you ask? it is because this skit thing was meant to be a fun activity for sec 2s to enjoy before their streamings, THATS why! now it has been miraculously transformed into a battle between the classes.
firstly. will the freakin skit look good in your resume in the future when you apply to jobs? oh, i can see it now.
Experience:
- winning first/second/third in an inter-class drama competition during Secondary Two
the answer, my friends, is NO. in fact, it will look pretty juvenile and out of place.
Secondly. when we all turn 16/17 (WHATEVER AGE), we graduate, leaving this school forever and probably never returning to study here ever again. As hard as it is to believe, but I will have you know that when that time comes, all these things WILL NOT seem to matter anymore. So why leave more embarrassing situations for you to laugh about in the future?
Thirdly. It is all very admirable, i will admit, the class spirit shown by all three classes. But do you not feel that it is a sad waste of class spirit if you direct it in the wrong way? True class spirit does not have to be exhibited by publicly demeaning other people, or blatantly scorning others who have succeeded in areas you did not. As cliche as this may sound, my friend, class spirit is expressing unity in a positive way.
k shall stop. congrats to the three classes who won the prelims, btw.

on a more solemn note (HAHAHA yeah right.)
